Recently, I have been very privileged to record the Constable exhibition at Wolsey Art Gallery in Ipswich. I was able to witness the removal of the Millstream from the frame for a picture conservator to assess the condition and recommend restorative/conservation needs. this is a once in a lifetime event and to cap it all I now have the honour of one of my archive photographs replacing Constable for the short duration of the health check.
